All local and imported branded companies of eatables, clothes, shoes and other items are offering
special discount on sale to customers in the provincial capital on the eve of Pakistan Day being
observed on March 23, Tuesday.

According to a survey conducted by APP at various markets and shopping malls here on Monday,
all prominent shopping malls including Amanah, Packages and Emporium have displayed banners
offering discount on various items.
Habibullah, a senior citizen at Amanah Mall told APP that he purchased clothes, shoes and perfume
on discount as he could not come out of his house amid the prevailing COVID-19 situation.
He maintained that almost every brand’s item is available at a very economical price, adding
apparently it seems that companies are trying to draw the attention of customers so that market
activity could be accelerated.
Another youngster Imran Taj at Emporium Mall Joher Town while talking to this scribe said that
all prominent brands were offering discount only to dispose of their stocks of last session.
He said that no fresh articles and models were put on display in the ongoing sale.
Hush Puppies, Derma Shine, Junaid Jamshed J. clothing, Bata, ShoePlanet, Cross Roads and
many others had offered 25 percent discount to mark the Pakistan Day.
Cougar offering 23 per cent flat discount on all its items, Khaddi up to 30 percent, Edenrobe up to
20 percent and Leisure Club offers 25 percent flat discount on all products on Pakistan Day.
All brands are also offering theses attractive discounts on their online stores as well. The sale
offer will continue till March 25th , 2021.
