Pakistani actor and television personality Ayesha Omar is set to host Lazawaal Ishq (Eternal Love), a reality dating show that marks a first for Urdu-speaking audiences worldwide. Based on the popular Turkish reality TV format Aşk Adası, the show will premiere on YouTube and introduce Pakistani viewers to a format that has been widely watched across the globe but never locally produced in Urdu.
A First of Its Kind for Urdu Speaking Audiences
Speaking from Istanbul, where she is stationed for five weeks, Omar described Lazawaal Ishq as “a first of its kind for Pakistani and Urdu-speaking viewers worldwide.” While she kept details under wraps, she confirmed that the show features Pakistani participants, boys and girls visible in the promo, who will compete for love and a final winning title.
