On Thursday, the Islamabad High Court postponed the Axact fake degree case hearing because accused Shoaib Sheikh and his attorney were absent.
Chief Justice Amir Farooq presided over Shoaib Sheikh’s appeal against his conviction in the Axact fake degree case.
The Federation was represented by Additional Attorney General Munawar Iqbal Dogal and Special Prosecutor Ashfaq Naqvi.
Assistant lawyer Naila Noureen informed the court that the appellant’s lawyer, Lateef Khousa, couldn’t attend due to Supreme Court commitments.
Additionally, a request for Shoaib Sheikh’s exemption from court appearance was submitted, which the court granted, leading to the adjournment of the proceedings.
