Asia Fashion Week London Launch 2015

20^th June 2015 London at the launch of Panasonic Asia Fashion Week London on 20th June 2015 the invitees extended their support for this unique Global platform and lauded the designs of Muzaffar and Meera at Montcalm Hotel Marble Arch. Muzaffar Ali led his team to  showcase globally for the first time the Kotwara Collection designed for his to be released magnum opus, Jaanisaar. The event was started wit Mr Suhel Seth’s speech (is an Indian entrepreneur, author, actor and columnist)

Post the show, Preeti Rana, the Executive Director of RaRa Events, shared that over the last 3-4 years of RaRa’s experience in UK and Europe they always saw a strong case for celebrating the geographical and cultural diversity of Asia, thus was born Asia Fashion Week, a unique traveling global platform that promotes creative talent from Asia. She said that post today’s successful launch, within 100 days, the next show will be in London and then somewhere in Asia.

Speaking on the occasion, Muzaffar Ali praised the firm steps taken by organisers of Panasonic Smart Phones Asia Fashion Week and extended his support to build up the property as need be. He also shared the work being done by his label Kotwara to promote creative talent from the erstwhile Awadh province in India with Pernia Qureshi as a show stopper.

Panasonic, a global leader in its own right saw synergy with the vision of Asia Fashion Week London and came on board to support the launch initiative as Title Sponsor for their Smart Phone vertical.

Supporting the philosophy of uniting cultural diversities Pratham UK agreed to support Asia Fashion Week London as social cause partner alongside ZeeTV as Media Partner.

Asia Fashion is a concept designed & managed by RaRa Event who feels honored to present to you a sui generis initiative to showcase the best of creative talent from Asia to the World, the Asia Fashion Week.

Starting today with the launch in London, Asia Fashion Week will celebrate the cultural and geographical incongruities of Asia, through a unifier, fashion. Subsequently every 100 days the show will travel across to the fashion capitals of the World.

For the first time, this bold initiative attempts to build a advisory board with board members who have exhibited leadership in their domains other than fashion. This sees the coming together of Badminton World No. 1 Saina Nehwal, Mr. Ravinder Zutshi, former Deputy Managing Director of Samsung in India, Pardeep Jain, a first generation entrepreneur credited with building one of the top 3 smartphone brand in India, Karbonn Mobile,  Prachi Mishra, former Miss India and an actress and Preeti Rana, Executive Director at RaRa Events who has ensured the coming together of this board. As the show travels, RaRa will add board members who share the vision of growth and love for creativity.
