Adnan Sami Responds to Fawad Chaudhry’s Personal Attack Following Pahalgam Attack

Adnan Sami reacts strongly after Fawad Chaudhry, a former Pakistani minister, takes a dig at him. This comes in the wake of the terror attack in Pahalgam, Jammu and Kashmir, where 25 tourists and a local Kashmiri lose their lives. The attack devastates both India and Pakistan.

Fawad Chaudhry posts on X (formerly Twitter), questioning, “What about Adnan Sami?” This remark follows India’s decision to ask Pakistani nationals to leave the country after the attack. The Pakistani politician makes an objectionable comment about Sami’s weight loss journey, referring to him as a “deflated balloon.”

Adnan Sami, born in the UK to a Pakistani father and a Kashmiri mother, has been living in India since 2001. He is a naturalized Indian citizen since 2016. Sami responds angrily to Chaudhry’s remarks. He corrects the politician, saying, “My roots are from Peshawar, not Lahore!” Sami slams the ex-minister for his ignorance, calling him an “illiterate idiot.”

Adnan Sami Hits Back at Fawad Chaudhry’s Mockery

Sami, who had recently undergone a significant weight loss, doesn’t take kindly to Chaudhry’s personal attack. The politician suggests that Sami appears like a deflated balloon, mocking his transformation. Sami hits back, saying, “I may have been deflated, but you are still a balloon.” He also mocks Chaudhry’s tenure as Minister of (Mis) Information and Science. He asks, “Was that the science of bulls**t?”

The singer’s sharp response adds fuel to the already high emotions following the terror attack. His initial reaction to the Pahalgam attack was filled with sorrow. He shared on social media, “How can humanity stoop to such depths of depravity? How can the beauty of nature be perverted to stage such horrific crimes against humanity?”

India’s response to the attack includes suspending the Indus Water Treaty, downsizing High Commissions, and halting visa services for Pakistani nationals. These actions heighten tensions between the two countries, with public figures using social media to voice their opinions.
