Alif has officially set a very high standard for dramas to come. The drama serial was spellbinding and hit all the spiritual notes perfectly. It is about the love that is more spiritual than any we might find on this earth.
Story of Alif
Alif depicts the journey of a man and how he closes the gap between himself and the maker. How love changes him and how he turns into a new leaf. The connection between God and his people is special and unique. He does not have favorites. He is equally accepting of those who have wronged but want to mend their ways and that is exactly what the show so purposefully puts forth. It urges to not lose hope, to not turn away for the creator.
Ending of Alif
Drama serial Alif ended on a bittersweet note. We personally think that it could have been dragged a little more since it had a huge fan following and there could have many more angles but the makers thought otherwise. It felt like the story came a full circle for the lead, Qalb e Momin.
The Actors
Each actor performed brilliantly. The star cast was amazing. From Hamza Ali Abbassi to Kubra Khan to Sajal Ali and all others everyone fit in the story to the T. And don’t even get us started on how adorable was Sajal and Hamza’s pairing. The screenplay, the dialogues, the cinematography was also done very smoothly. The director also deserves a major shoutout as most dramas that have past and present sequences going on at once become confusing but nowhere while watching Alif do you find yourself wondering what is happening.
We think that more shows like Alif should hit our TV screens. It was a pure delight watching this show and we hope that more makers are inspired to come up with content like this.
