Tragedy has struck in Russia’s Far East after a domestic passenger plane crashed while en route to the city of Tynda. Officials have confirmed that no survivors were found at the Russia plane crash 2025 site, where rescue teams are now searching through the wreckage.
The Antonov-24 aircraft, operated by Angara Airlines, was carrying nearly 50 people, including passengers and crew, when it suddenly disappeared from radar over the Amur region, near the border with China.

According to Russia’s Emergencies Ministry, a Mi-8 helicopter located the burning fuselage of the plane during a search operation. The aircraft had lost contact with air traffic control shortly before its scheduled arrival in Tynda.
State news agency TASS confirmed the worst: “No survivors have been found.” Rescue teams are on-site, combing through the debris for identification and recovery efforts.
