Pakistanis Trapped on Ship in Mozambique Without Food & Water

A deeply concerning situation has unfolded at Beira Port in Mozambique, where three Pakistani crew members, including Captain Aslam, are reportedly stranded on a foreign cargo ship. According to reports, the crew has run out of food and clean drinking water, leaving them in a severe state of distress.

Even more alarming is the fact that the ship’s refrigerators are completely empty, which means they have no way to store fresh food. This has created an urgent survival crisis for those onboard. The crew has been left without basic necessities for several days.

In response, Pakistan’s Federal Minister for Maritime Affairs, Muhammad Junaid Anwar Chaudhry, has taken swift action. He issued emergency instructions to ensure the trapped Pakistanis receive help without delay. The Ministry of Maritime Affairs has confirmed that the Director General of Ports and Shipping is in direct contact with Captain Aslam to monitor the situation closely and provide updates.
