Pakistani cricketers ICC ODI rankings, fans have more to cheer for as two of their brightest stars, Salman Agha and Abrar Ahmed, have achieved career best positions in the latest ICC Men’s ODI Player Rankings following their standout performances in the recent home series against South Africa and Sri Lanka.
Salman Agha, who has steadily established himself as one of Pakistan’s most reliable middle order batters, climbed 14 places to 16th in the ICC batting charts. His unbeaten 105 off 87 balls against Sri Lanka in Rawalpindi stood out as a defining moment in his young ODI career. That century, combined with consistent scores of 69 and 5* against South Africa, has elevated him to become Pakistan’s second highest ranked ODI batter, just behind Babar Azam, who currently holds the 7th spot in the global list.

Young opener Saim Ayub has also made headlines by jumping 18 places to 35th, showcasing his rapid rise and consistency at the top of the order. However, senior players Mohammad Rizwan (27) and Fakhar Zaman (31) have slipped slightly following a dip in form.
On the bowling front, mystery spinner Abrar Ahmed continued his impressive run, delivering match winning spells of 3/53 and 4/27 against South Africa. These performances helped him soar 17 spots to 20th in the latest ICC ODI bowler rankings, putting him only four positions behind Shaheen Shah Afridi, who remains Pakistan’s top ranked bowler at 16th place.
Meanwhile, Haris Rauf moved up two positions to 29th, and Mohammad Nawaz climbed to 65th, reflecting the overall improvement of Pakistan’s bowling unit across formats.

Globally, the latest ODI batter rankings are led by Rohit Sharma (India), followed by Ibrahim Zadran (Afghanistan), Daryl Mitchell (New Zealand), Shubman Gill (India), and Virat Kohli (India) rounding out the top five. Among bowlers, Rashid Khan of Afghanistan retains the top spot, with Jofra Archer, Keshav Maharaj, Maheesh Theekshana, and Bernard Scholtz following closely behind.
