LFW Bridal Showcase Presents officially launched in Lahore with a solo showcase by designer Hussain Rehar. The new platform, created by the team behind LAAM Fashion Week, aims to promote fashion and culture through curated year round presentations. The inaugural event took place at the historic Islamia College Lahore, combining heritage architecture with modern fashion.
The platform is co founded by LAAM, led by Amir Iqbal and Arif Iqbal, along with Design651 under Saad Ali. Unlike seasonal fashion weeks, LFW Presents will host continuous showcases, brand launches, talks, masterclasses, and cultural experiences throughout the year. Organizers say the initiative will strengthen creative storytelling and expand industry visibility.
Founded in 1892, Islamia College Lahore served as a meaningful venue for the launch. Its Indo Saracenic architecture and cultural legacy created a strong connection between history and contemporary design. As a result, the location reflected the platform’s vision of merging tradition with modern expression.
Hussain Rehar unveils Nargis bridal collection
For its first edition, LFW Presents featured Hussain Rehar’s bridal showcase titled Nargis, themed Heritage in Bloom. The collection celebrated South Asian bridal traditions while introducing modern silhouettes and styling. Deep crimson velvets, gold tones, and hand embroidered fabrics dominated the runway.
Each outfit blended heritage motifs with contemporary craftsmanship. Moreover, styling, makeup, and accessories completed full bridal looks designed to tell stories of love and legacy. The presentation highlighted how traditional fashion continues to evolve with changing aesthetics.
The showcase also included a live performance by veteran actress Resham, which added a cultural dimension to the event. Meanwhile, television star Ayeza Khan walked as the showstopper, drawing strong audience attention and closing the presentation.
Fahad Hussayn directed the inaugural showcase, while Maheen Kardar led designer experience direction. Nabila and N Gents served as official style partners. In addition, Lotus Client Management and Public Relations handled strategic communications.
Unlike traditional fashion shows, LFW Presents operates as an invitation led platform. The LFW team curates and produces every presentation internally to maintain quality and creative consistency. This approach allows designers to focus on creativity while the platform manages production and storytelling.
