Sharjah deports five Pakistanis for fake UK travel documents

Five Pakistani nationals were deported from Sharjah after authorities discovered they were travelling with fake British visas. The incident has drawn serious attention from officials as concerns rise over the use of forged travel documents. According to the Federal Investigation Agency, the passengers were immediately detained on their arrival at Lahore Airport.

Sharjah authorities identify fake UK travel documents

An FIA spokesperson confirmed that the individuals had travelled from Lahore to Malaysia earlier this year on valid visit visas. Later, they attempted to fly from Sharjah to the United Kingdom with forged travel documents. As the spokesperson explained, they obtained the fake visas with the help of agents who are believed to be part of a wider network.

Sharjah authorities checked their documents during routine clearance. Soon after, officials confirmed that the visas were fake. As a result, the travellers were stopped at the airport and questioned by local authorities. The quick action by Sharjah officials prevented them from boarding their connecting flight. They were later deported to Pakistan following standard procedures.

The passengers were taken into custody by FIA teams in Lahore. According to investigators, the suspects will now face legal action. Their case joins a growing list of incidents involving forged visas and fraudulent travel plans. Authorities believe that strict checks at international airports are helping identify more cases of document misuse. They also noted that many passengers fall victim to agents who offer shortcuts for international travel.

After initial questioning at the airport, the FIA transferred all five suspects to the Anti Human Smuggling Circle in Lahore. The unit will now conduct a detailed investigation to determine the source of the fake visas and identify the agents involved. Officials said the case could help expose a network that targets travellers seeking entry into the United Kingdom.

Reactions from officials highlight the ongoing challenge of preventing visa fraud. Investigators say that such cases can create serious problems for travellers and harm the country’s international reputation. They also pointed out that using forged documents can result in long term travel restrictions for the individuals involved. Many travellers are often unaware of the risks and trust agents who claim to provide fast approvals.

Authorities continue to warn the public about the growing number of scams. They advise passengers to rely only on verified travel consultants. They also recommend that travellers confirm visa details through official embassy services. As officials explained, genuine visas follow strict processes and cannot be issued through unofficial channels.

The FIA has increased monitoring at airports following recent cases. The agency has stressed that cooperation between Pakistan and other countries is essential for preventing such incidents. Regular communication with foreign authorities helps identify forged documents before passengers reach their final destinations.

The case of the five deported travellers reflects the need for stronger awareness among the public. With more people seeking to travel abroad for work or study, authorities believe that strict vigilance is necessary. Clear guidelines and timely warnings can help reduce the number of people who fall into fraudulent schemes.

As the investigation continues, officials hope the findings will lead to action against the agents involved. The FIA plans to trace the individuals who prepared the fake documents. They also aim to stop similar cases before they reach international airports. Through these efforts, authorities expect to improve the safety and reliability of travel procedures for Pakistanis.
