Wateen Telecom to provide business connectivity to Engro for its power projects in Thar

Lahore, September 19th, 2015: Wateen Telecom, Pakistan’s largest telecommunication service provider, has signed an MoU with Sindh Engro Coal Mining Company (SECMC), and Engro Thar Power Limited (EPTL) under which Wateen will provide dedicated Internet, Data and Telecommunication services to SECMC and EPTL at their coal mining and power plant sites at Thar.

The Sindh Engro Coal Mining Company and Engro Thar Power projects reside in the remote areas of Thar, where high speed and quality data and internet connectivity arevital tools for running and managing a business in today’s day and age.
