Telenor Bridal Couture Week 2014 Day 2

Here we bring to you the exclusive roundup from the Telenor Bridal Couture Week Day 2 .

First half of the day started with Ammar Shahid’s Bridal collection titled ‘Salvation’ showcasing his exquisite designs. His collection showed a reflection of Eastern heritage at the ramp of TBCW 2014 which was appreciated by the audience.

This was followed by UMSHA by Uzma Babar’s collection, which was titled ‘Shehnai’. Her designs are inspired by modern women and her need for classic fashion with a contemporary twist. Theme of her collection was modern art painted with a traditional brush.

3rd showcase of the day was an artistic collection by aspiring brand TEENA by Hina Butt. Her collection titled Mandana is inspired by the Persian art form and the carpets.

Last collection of the second day 1st half concluded by a collection that draws inspiration from era’s past highlighting the galore and grandeur of those times with a collection named Shalimar by Saira Rizwan. Saira showcased some beautifully designed bridal lehngas, bridal sarees and cultural Pakistani bridal dresses which were cherished by the audience.

Second half of the show started with a fairy walking wearing classic red bridal suit at the ramp of TBCW 2014 and her comes Fahad Hussayn’s as expected a unique collection titled Nautanki Rani. His collection showed inspiration from Multani architecture, local craft techniques and colonial influences. After the successful showcase of Fahad Hussayn’s Nautanki Rani designer Aisha Imran’s collection titled Souvenir joined the ramp. Aisha with special care of patterns and style successfully showed the core glamour and beauty of South Asian brides.

The last designer of second day at TBCW 2014 was none other than Hajra Hayyat. Today Hajra showcased her latest bridal couture collection named Empress with a Royality theme. Her exquisitely designed classic bridal lehngas and other formal bridal attires were truly an inspiration from the rich and opulent lifestyle of the subcontinet in the time of Mughals.
