Shane Warne to Debut in Bollywood

This is now becoming a trend that foreign cricketers appear in Bollywood flicks post their retirement OR when suitable in a career downtime. This time rumor has it that the king of Spin, Shane Warne to Debut in Bollywood very soon.

“There is an offer. There is someone who has something for me, Warne said, while he was attending a Tourism Victoria event.

Prior to this Australian cricketer Brett Lee also grabbed eyeballs when he started shooting for a $4.5 million Indian film titled “UNINDIAN.” The film, is directed by Anupam Sharma, is shot in Sydney and also features Tannishtha Chatterjee in a pivotal role. Other intl cricketers who made a Bollywood appearance are former Pakistan paceman Wasim Akram, ex-England captains Nasser Hussain and Graham Gooch, South Africa batsman Herschelle Gibbs and Australia all-rounder Andrew Symonds . They all featured in Akshay Kumar starrer “Patiala House” back in 2011.
