The natural beauty of Pakistan seems to know no boundaries. This is because of the different yet spectacular landscapes, which Mother Nature has blessed the country with. However, there are places in Pakistan that are absolutely beautiful yet they still are not talked about.   • Dudipatsar Lake

The lake got its name from the word “Dudi” which means white and “Sar” which means lake. Thereby it’s the lake that is named after the color of the snow that covers the surrounding peaks. The Dudipatsar lake is located in the Lulusar Dudipatsar National Park, in the extreme North of the Kaghan Valley. As the striking, greenish blue lake is situated at a high altitude, its water is extremely cold.

  • Thandiani

When translated into English, the name means very cold and thereby the place is a perfect depiction of the name. It is a popular spot in the summer season because of its low temperatures. The place is deeply forested and the lush greenery provides a spectacular view in the warmer months. Popular fauna and flora of Thandiani include the Flying Squirrel,leopards and Pine Marten.

  • Katas Raj

The Temple of Katas Raj belong to the Hindu community and is situated in the Katas village of the Chakwal district, Punjab. The clear blue water surrounded by remains of Buddhist Stupa and the seven ancient temple called Satghara.

  • Ghizer River

Surrounded by the Ghizer valley, which is considered to be the Gateway to Central Asia, this river is small in width yet long in length. The Ghizer river is a tributary of the Indus River and located in the Northern Areas of Gilgit–Baltistan, Pakistan. Also known as River Gilgit, this river enchants tourists with its scenic beauty.
