Hamza Ali Abbasi’s Directorial Debut ‘Kambakht’ releases in 2015 … Produced under the banner of ARY films, this movie has been in a buzz since last year and is no doubt a much awaited Pakistani film in 2015 by Hamza Ali Abbasi.

The shooting delayed as Hamza had been a PTI supporter and was busy with Imran Khan in the Dharna’s however, ”KAMBAKHT nearing completion Alhamdulilah after a delay. I hope this small budget commercial comedy film will inshallah help in making “Film Business” in Pakistan viable for small/medium producers so that more and more films come out of our country to uplift it from traumas and make its mark on world stage. Really proud of its content with clean humor and a strong moral message. We were in Bangkok recently. Shooting for the movie has kicked off and will wrap up by February if all goes according to plan. It’s a funny movie and Ayesha Khan will be acting opposite me. Other than that, Bilal Lashari’s Maula Jatt is also in the pipeline but it is in pre-production stages right now so it will be a couple of months until we start doing anything concrete, said Hamza in a recent post on social media”

The movie stars, Humayun Saeed, Shafqat Cheema, Shehreyar Munawar Siddiqui, Sohai Ali Abro, Fizza Zehra, Hamza Ali Abbasi, Latif Sheikh, Gohar Rasheed, Salman Shaukat, Meisam, Ahmed Cheema, Mohammad Atif Siddique, Jalal Haider Khan and Yousuf Bashir Qureshi.

Hamza Ali Abbasi is a Pakistani actor, model and film director. He is best renowned for his debut in drama serial Pyarey Afzal in which he did the role of Afzal. He started his acting career from theatre play Dally in the Dark in 2006 which was Shah Shahrahbeel’s production. While in filmography he made his first debut in a short film Glorious Resolve (2010), a direction of Bilal Lashari. In 2013 he appeared in feature films of Pakistani Cinema, Main Hoon Shahid Afridi and Waar for which he received Best Star Debut and Best Supporting Actor awards at 1st ARY Film Awards.
