Bin Roye Movie Music Launch at VOX cinema Dubai

A one-of-its-kind movie for the new Pakistani cinema, Bin Roye – a Momina Duraid film — is sure to exceed audiences’ expectations with its engaging script, picture-perfect direction, immaculate production and star-studded cast including Mahira Khan, Humayun Saeed, Armeena Rana Khan and others. Bin Roye also has some of the biggest names of the subcontinent music industry associated with it, including the likes of Rahat Fateh Ali Khan, Abida Parveen, Shiraz Uppal,  Ankit Tiwari and Rekha Bhardwaj. This is the first time that VOX Distribution has partnered with a Pakistani movie for its distribution across the UAE, Oman and Bahrain.

Dubai June 15, 2015: HUM Films, MD films and VOX Distribution organized the music launch press conference and special meet and greet session with the star cast and crew of Pakistan’s most anticipated feature film Bin Roye, starring the stalwarts of Pakistan’s entertainment industry — the gorgeous Mahira Khan and Armeena Rana Khan, and the evergreen Humayun Saeed — in lead roles.

The press conference held at VOX Cinema Burjuman, Dubai raised the curtain from the fantastic line-up of singers, composers and lyricists associated with Bin Roye and served as a launch-pad for the six songs included in the movie. Like the star-studded cast of the film, Bin Roye’s music too, has some of biggest names of the subcontinent associated with it including Rahat Fateh Ali Khan, Abida Parveen, Shiraz Uppal, Ankit Tiwari, Rekha Bhardwaj, Harshdeep Kaur, Waqar Ali and others.

CEO HUM Network, Duraid Qureshi welcomed the audiences and shared the vision of HUM Network in shaping the entertainment landscape of Pakistan.

VOX Distribution will fill in these gaps. VOX will promote and market the films just like any other Hollywood or Bollywood films. To start with, this is the first time that a Pakistani film will release day and date with its release in Pakistan. Bin Roye will release on the first day of Eid-Ul-Fitr across the UAE, Oman and Bahrain. After the overwhelming response to the trailer and songs we have also decided to open the advance tickets sale for the movies weeks before its release. The cast comprising Armeena Khan, Humayun Saeed and Mahira Khan shared their experiences of the film, while the producer and co-director of the movie, Momina Duraid raised the curtain from the amazing line-up of singers and musicians associated with the movie. Afterwards, the music of the movie was released for the first time ever to members of the press and glitterati, following which it will be released globally simultaneously.

“Ballay Ballay” is penned by Shakeel Sohail, composed and sung by Shiraz Uppal along with the famous Indian playback singer Harshdeep Kaur. “Teray Bina Jeena” is composed by Sahir Ali Bagga, penned by Sabir Zafar and sung by Ustaad Rahat Fateh Ali Khan along with Saleema Jawwad. The third song of the movie “Chan Chariya” is recorded in the soothing voice of Indian playback singer Rekha Bhardwaj along with Momin Durrani; the song is penned by Sabir Zafar and composed by Shani Arshad. The queen of Sufi Music, Abida Parveen, and Zeb Bangash have given voice to the Sufi track “Maula Maula”, composed by Shani and penned by Sabir Zafar. The Indian playback singer Ankit Tiwari of the “Tu Hai ke Nahe” fame has rendered his soulful voice to “O Yara”, composed by Waqar Ali and penned by Sabir Zafar. The title track of the movie “Bin Roye”, composed and sung by Shiraz Uppal and penned by Shakeel Sohail promises to leave all those who hear it, in awe.

The special meet and greet session was attended by media personnel, bloggers and bigwigs of Pakistan’s entertainment industry including Mahira Khan, Armeena Rana Khan, Humayun Saeed, Momina Duraid and others.

Made under the banner of HUM Films and Momina Duraid Films, Bin Roye is the only Pakistani movie which will be released globally on Eid-ul-Fitr and promises to raise the bar of filmmaking in Pakistan. The movie is based on the bestselling socio-romantic novel “Bin Roye Ansoo” by the legendary playwright Farhat Ishtiaq, produced by the bigwig of Pakistan drama industry Momina Duraid and directed by Momina Duraid and Shahzad Kashmiri. With two of the movie’s songs directed by the talented Asim Raza and Sarmad Sultan, the talented Farhan Alam as director of photography, and a star-studded cast including the likes of Javed Sheikh, Zeba Bakhtiar, Azra Mansoor and with special appearances of the multi-talented Adeel Hussain, Junaid Khan, Faiza Hassan and Shireen Zahid, Bin Roye is sure to set Pakistan film industry on a new course.
